In the spring, nature fills the world with bugs and animals. The good weather has also come to our handcraft garden, filling it with funny little bugs. Would you like to know how this happened?
MATERIALS
Apli pipe cleaners
Apli moving eyes
Apli scissors
SPIDER
STEP 1
Join 4 pipe cleaners by their middle.

STEP 2
Roll up another pipe cleaner with a spiral at each end, one smaller than the other and in opposite directions.

STEP 3
Attach the spirals to the place where the legs join.

STEP 4
Bend the legs, apply two little Apli moving eyes and…Voilà! You have a spider! :)
BUTTERFLY
STEP 1
Roll two Apli pipe cleaners together to make a thicker strand and then roll it around a ball pen.

STEP 2
Bend another pipe cleaner in half and make little curls at each end. Then fit the other pipe cleaners onto it.

STEP 3
Attach another pipe cleaner of a different colour to the sides, as you can see in the photo.

STEP 4
Attach some little moving eyes... and now you have your butterfly! :)
CHAMELEON
STEP 1
Join two pipe cleaners together to obtain a double length strand. Wind this round a ball pen making a thicker part in the middle.

STEP 2
Bend the end of another pipe cleaner to make the head.

STEP 3
Insert the head pipe cleaner into the one rolled round the pen, making sure it is secure.

STEP 4
Now cut another pipe cleaner in half and bend each half to make a V shape. These will be used to make each pair of legs. Bend the wire so that it is attached to the body and make the typical tong-like chameleon feet at the ends... just like the real thing! ;)

STEP 5
Now attach the little eyes, the spiral tail and the super-tongue and... voilà! Be careful Flies!

Here they are all together in the Apli garden! :D
