Little horse race

Today, more than a handcraft, we bring you a game for reunions and parties: A horse race! They'll have a great time transforming these swimming pool rolls into horses, but they'll have an even better time making them gallop... Shall we show you how it's done?
MATERIALS
APLI EVA foam
APLI Washi Tape
APLI raffia
APLI staples
APLI stickers
APLI scissors
APLI adhesive tape
Swimming pool float tubes
STEP 1
Take 3 strips of EVA foam from the longest part of the sheet you have.

STEP 2
Staple the two strips together, but only one end, so you will have a strip of double length.

STEP 3
Now you have a long strip and a short one. Put washitape on the sides of both strips.

STEP 4
Take the swimming pool float tube and bend it, to give the little horse a face. Take the shortest strip and tie it around the roll to secure the bend. When this has been done, take the longest strip and staple it to the two sides, to make the reigns.

STEP 5
Cover the staples with more washitape so they are invisible.

STEP 6
Make the ears of the horse by cutting a strip of EVA foam so that the ends have an oval shape. You can place another piece of EVA foam of the same shape in the middle, to make them even more amusing.

STEP 7
Tie the ears to the head raffia. Now you can create the coat of the horse by tying strips of raffia, the raffia you used before.

STEP 8
The only thing left to do is to continue decorating your horse with more hair, large eyes and, if you want, a nose made with stickers... and gallop away!
