Geometric origami garland

Add a little "style" to your little one´s room or your work space with a mobile made with geometric-shaped coloured paper. He or she can even help you as these are very easy to make. Geometric origami is very much in fashion and we have jumped on the bandwagon. Apart from being a hanging mobile for your bedroom wall, you can also make lamps, something to hang from your car´s rear-view mirror, to decorate a party or anything else that comes to mind. We will see more examples of amazing origami later on. Let´s start with the list of material to make this handicraft. MATERIALS - Apli coloured paper - Apli glue stick and scissors (you can also use double-sided tape or white glue) - Apli wooden lollipop sticks - Fishing wire and needle - Ruler - Geometric shaped stencil STEP 1. Print out the geometric-shaped stencil on Apli A4 coloured paper. (We have attached the stencil that we have used in pdf format). We'll cut out the silhouette with the scissors and paste the tabs where appropriate with the glue stick. Don't worry about it, it comes very naturally!   STEP 2. We pass the fishing line with the needle through one end of the diamond. Repeat this step with all the diamonds. The starting point of the fishing line of each diamond should be different in order to be different heights when we hang them. This is the trick to making them really cool. STEP 3.
