Monstrously soft

Do you remember your favourite cuddly toy when you were a child? We don’t know if these charming little monsters will become the favourites of the house, but what’s sure is that they’ll have lots of fun making them. Shall we begin?
MATERIALS
APLI wool
APLI little eyes
APLI pompoms
APLI scissors
APLI silicone glue
STEP 1
Wind the wool around your hand to make a pompom. As the little monster is made of woollen pompoms of three different sizes, you will have to take this into account when making it. We are going to make two big ones (4 fingers x 100 turns), two medium ones (3 fingers x 70 turns) and five small ones (2 fingers x 50 turns). You can make more or fewer pompoms according to how you want to do it.

STEP 2
When you have wound the wool as many times as necessary, carefully remove it from your fingers and tie it with a knot.

STEP 3
Now cut the ends of the wool so that the threads are loose.

STEP 4
When this is done, trim the ends, so the pompom is as uniform as possible.

STEP 5
Do the same with all the other pompoms you have made.

STEP 6
Now you can begin to make your little monster.

STEP 7
Start with the two biggest pompoms, which will form the head and body, and then stick on the ears, little legs, arms, tail…

STEP 8
When all the pompoms are stuck together you can add little eyes, nose, mouth… as you like!

Make as many as you want and try making them in different shapes, creativity power!
