Shine like a little mermaid!

Why not become the shiniest little fish in the sea? Today we will show you how to make a beautiful mermaid’s tail including a top. An ideal costume for summer parties or to walk on the beach, showing off your figure.

MATERIALS

APLI Dressy Bond

APLI EVA foam

APLI white glue

APLI scissors

APLI stapler

STEP 1

Take a piece of 40cm x 60cm Apli EVA foam, mark lines at the lower part as in the photo and cut.

STEP 2

Take a piece of shiny silver Apli EVA foam, trace the fin and cut it out.

STEP 3

Staple the two parts together.

STEP 4

Cut out the other pieces from Dressy Bond material. The line of scales should be as wide as the tail. The white strip should be 5cm wide and 1m long.

STEP 5

Make some 5cm cuts in the upper part of the tail and insert the tape.

STEP 6

Now you can begin sticking the scales to the tail. Use a thin line of glue for each line of scales.

STEP 7

To make your little mermaid really shine, add a top with shells and a strip of shiny silver EVA foam above the tail.

STEP 8

And now it’s ready! Super simple and very decorative.
