Let's have a party! (Part 1)

Birthday parties, carnival parties, all sorts of celebrations... we love them! But it’s no easy job to organise a children’s party, they are the most difficult of audiences! If you haven’t got much experience organizing parties or if you sometimes run out of ideas, this will give you a helping hand to be successful and organise brilliant parties!
1. CHOOSE A TOPIC!
Dinosaurs, robots, animals, their favourite movies... kids love their parties to be about their favourite topics. In addition, it’s an advantage for you, once chosen, you only have to think about things related to the topic, and it’ll be so much easier!

2. WHO ARE WE GOING TO INVITE?
It's their party, so they choose! From 4 years of age, they can say who their best friends are and if they are younger, you can ask their teachers who they get on better with. Mummy and daddy may also be welcome!

To make and send invitations is one of the grooviest activities when organising a party. You can make them out of card, have a go at scrapbooking... or use the Apli Kids animal masks, which are also invitation cards for parties!

3. FOOD
Choosing together what they are going to eat can also be fun. It’s a perfect day for you to have your favourite snacks and, why not, some sweets. But not too many, eh? ;-)

4. LET’S DECORATE!
Once you know the topic, how many people will come and have chosen the place, you can begin to think about the decoration.

Banners made with gift paper, garlands with die cut paper... set your imagination alight!

We need some light! What about some special little lanterns? We love them! You can use a strip of lights that you can buy in many places and decorate them with Apli Kids pompoms. What a smart move!

An alternative? Of course, make a garland with little lanterns made of card and decorate them with Apli Kids stickers.

AND NEXT WEEK...
We'll tell you how to organise games for a successful party... as well as how to make fancy dresses!
We look forward to seeing you! ;-)
